Press Release from the Council of Ministers

After beating back Iranian aggression, Saudi Arabia will meet with Shi’ite leaders in order to discuss possible grievances of the Shi’ite population. We hope this results in lasting peace and a stronger Saudi state.

Press Release from the Council of Ministers

In order to secure our borders on both land and sea, the Saudi Arabian Council of Ministers has authorized the mobilization of our navy in the region to stop the flow of persons nefarious and armaments into Saudi Arabia from Iran. The continuing attacks within the country have resulted in domestic turbulence compounded into an international affair as these attacks were precipitated by an outside hostile government. Saudi Arabia has remained on the defense throughout this ‘Day of Rage’ and we ask that our allies remember that Iran has consistently been the aggressor and that all Saudi Arabia has done is well within our rights and a legitimate sovereign state.

Iran Quest for Peace in the Middle East

In the light of accusations that Iran has actively launched military action against Saudi Arabia, Iran would like to outright deny this allegation. Iran sees this accusation as one more failure of the Saudi Arabian government which is seeking excuses for the repression of the Shiite people in an effort to grasp onto legitimacy. Iran calls for the international community to recognize the burgeoning relationships between Iran and the rest of the developed world including the United States.

US Military Action

The United States of America is instituting a no fly zone over the Persian Gulf and mobilizing
the Fifth Fleet to protect oil and commercial vessels. In addition the United States Fifth Fleet
will lend assistance to the Saudi navy in the detention of suspicious cargo vessels. In addition the
United States will deploy approximately 5,000 airborne servicemen to eastern Saudi Arabia to
play a noncombatant role in stabilizing the area. In addition the United States demands that the
Iranian government stand down as these actions are not intended to be aggressive or provocative,
rather they are intended to keep the peace and insure the flow of commerce. The United States
also endorses negotiations between the Saudi government and opposition groups in their state.

The World is Watching

The Saudi Opposition Coalition Council would like to send a clear statement to the House of Saud:

The eyes of the world are upon the Saudi Government. Numerous states across the international sphere, including Bahrain, France, and the United Kingdom, have issued statements of support for the Council’s cause and condemned the House of Saud for the violence it has used to quell the voices of its people.

We urge you, the Saudi Government, to respect the request of the United Nations Security Council for a cease-fire.

How important is credibility and image to the House of Saud? How important is your stature within the international community? How important is the safety and respect of the Saudi people?

We remain attentive to our cause.

Security Council Passes Peacekeeping Force

NEW YORK--The United Nations Security Council today passed a resolution that called for international peacekeeping forces to be moved into Saudi Arabia in order to diffuse the conflict that has been occurring in the eastern province over the last week and a half.

Citing their belief that a peaceful arrangement can be made and deploring the violence that has paralyzed the region, the Security Council called for outside mediators to help diffuse the situation. Original opposition towards movement by China and Russia was rescinded following the Saudi Arabian government's attack on the protesters, allowing for a consensus to be reached.

Negotiations are ongoing within NATO towards moving peacekeeping troops into the region given this new development.

Turkey Condemns Use of Force

ANKARA--The Turkish government released a statement in a press conference earlier today condemning the Saudi Arabian's government recent movements against the protesters active throughout the country.

As the situation in Saudi Arabia worsened, reports confirmed attacks on civilians by Saudi Arabian soldiers and the implementation of military law. Most recently, Saudi Arabia approved the use of force against 20,000 civilians protesting at night despite a province-wide curfew installed to try and maintain control over the situation.

"The recent use of force against the protesters in eastern Saudi Arabia is unacceptable," the foreign minister of Turkey stated. "Saudi Arabia's response to the situation has been increasingly worrisome to the Turkish government throughout the last week, and given this most recent event Turkey has been left no choice but to condemn Saudi Arabia's actions."

U.S. Urges Restraint in Force

As casualties mount in the Arabian Peninsula, the United States urges all parties to exhibit
restraint and limit the use of excessive force. The American people are committed to the
protection of civilians in all situations, and as such the Department of Defense has increased its
presence in the region to ensure stability. The United States warns others against interfering in
our humanitarian efforts, or the escalating the conflict. The US is also concerned with the effects
this conflict will have in the region and hopes all parties cease hostilities as soon as possible.

Press Release from the King of Saudi Arabia

To the citizens of Saudi Arabia,

Recently, foreign operatives have infiltrated our country and have attempted to incite violence in our society. They have sought to divide us and have tried their best to pit brother against brother. Your King will not allow this to occur. To the people of Saudi Arabia I promise that all action necessary will be taken to restore the peace and security. Those who oppose Saudi Arabia, take this as a warning, that further actions that destabilize the Kingdom will not be tolerated. I hereby authorize the Saudi military to use any force necessary to quell these protests and regain control of the oil wells in the eastern provinces.

US Press Release

The United States is working closely with Interpol and other international organizations in order to freeze funds and accounts associated with armed resistance groups in the recent attacks on the Arabian Peninsula.

The United States also requests that other countries take similar actions in freezing accounts associated with the armed resistance groups.

Saudi Arabia Openly Fires on Protestors

The Saudi Arabian King just declared that lethal force is authorized to quell protests within Saudi Arabia. After many attempts for a peaceful resolution to the protests, this action shows a new level of military power used against the protests. Previously, the Saudi Arabian military has used non-lethal force to quell the protests, with little effect. In response, the protestors increasingly used violence against Saudi Arabian military and government officials involved. Reports are coming in through various social networking websites showing the Saudi Arabian military openly firing on crowds of innocent people. With no definite casualty reports, it is hard to estimate the number of victims of the rampant violence. In addition, the protestors are increasingly calling for intervention from the Opposition Coalition to interfere in the situation and stop the violence – by whatever means necessary. Reuters.

Iran Response to Saudi Actions

Iran would just like to agree with the recent condemnation of Saudi Arabia’s actions. Iran is disappointed in Saudi Arabia’s recent actions. Iran finds it disappointing that there are so many willing to work with Saudi Arabia, considering its recent actions, when the historically stable nation of Iran has been shut out for so long.
